The depth of lavender has been something that has intrigued me since I started experimenting with scent making. Homecoming seeks to draw out an accentuate some of the darker elements in lavender. Scent notes include lavender, black pepper, neroli, coriander, vetiver, and cedar. Make no mistake, lavender is the star here, but the other notes bring earthy, spicy, and dark notes to the table resulting in a complex and versatile scent.

Our new aftershave formula is full of the same skin loving ingredients as our original formula; however, the percentage of Witch Hazel has been significantly increased to provide an even better post shave experience.

For best results, shake before use

Ingredients:
Perfumer’s Alcohol, Witch Hazel, Fragrance/Essential Oil, Sodium Lactate, Aloe Vera Liquid, Glycerin

Please discontinue use immediately if skin irritation occurs.

Keep in mind that we cannot ship our alcohol based aftershave outside of the Untied States. Any international order containing aftershave will be fully refunded.

Amazing and complex scent

I love this scent so damn much. I’ve never been a huge lavender fan, but something about this just kinda called to me, so I had to pick up a bottle. I’m already a fan of Summer Break Soaps, and their Teacher’s Pet aftershave is one of my top three best smelling aftershaves I own.
When I first got a sniff of Homecoming out of the bottle, I was intrigued. It didn’t really do much for me, but I took another sniff later, getting some more notes than just lavender, then I did so again, then I said “To hell with it” and threw some on just to see how it felt on my skin and how it smelled with my body chemistry.
Goddamn am I happy I did that, because this sent absolutely ROCKS! It’s very floral but not in an overly feminine way, and the florals are balanced with dark sort of musky scents. I don’t entirely know how I’d describe it myself, but “Dark Lavender” is right on the money.
This is a scent i’d say is perfect for a work environment (for me at least, working in hospitality) or for a fancy date night. Honestly, I like it as just a general scent too.
If you like the description of this scent, pick it up, cause it smells as good as you imagine it.
Summer Break Soaps are utterly awesome, and I for sure am gonna pick up some more of their stuff ASAP.
(reposted this from my review of Homecoming on the Maggard Razors website, but I needed to spread the love here too)

Great scent

First off the aftershave is soothing and does as advertised. My number one thing I hate in an aftershave is that tacky feeling and this aftershave is not that. As far as scent, it is very well blended. It’s definitely a dark lavender sent with a lot of depth but I can’t pick out the other notes. It smells dark, just as described. Fantastic.

Very welcoming scent.

Through intial smell of the bottle, I immediately was welcomed with a nice scent and even more so when applied to my face. Highly recommend.
