The goal with this scent was to further explore the idea of plunging into cold water in an exotic location. We initially went to a tropical pool side with Cannonball! With Rope Swing, we are headed to a pristine mountain lake. The scent notes on this one are dandelion, water, moss, galbanum, juniper, ozone, patchouli, and cedar. The scent opens with a rush of green before settling down into a beautiful mix of dandelion and woodsy elements. The aquatic notes are not featured here but instead play a supporting role. Rope Swing will also feature the synthetic cooling ingredient WS-23. The result is a cooling sensation that will set in after a minute or 2 and last for long after your shave. If combined with the aftershave, the cooling sensation may last for 30 minutes + for some people.

Perfect Combo

I’ve tried a few mentholated soaps and each have their strengths. Rope Swing is a perfect blend of outdoor scents with just the right amount of menthol. For the full effect, try shaving with Rope Swing in the shower. It’s almost like the real thing.

Summer Nostalgia

This was a perfect shave to end a trying day. The scent notes open up perfectly as described, and the cooling agent is promising to stay active through the night. The AS is more floral than I was expecting and it's not a bad thing at all.
